Rosanna and her first husband, Curtis Pritchard, were first cousins. Their common ancestors were Ezekiel Parkhurst and his wife, Abiel Hathaway. In the 1850 census of Niveveh Twp, IN, Rosanna S. (33) was living with her husband Curtis Prichard (30) and her children John F. (9), Sarah E. (6), and Robert D. (2).  Curtis was a farmer and owned property worth $1500.  He was born in KY and Rosanna in TN.  They lived next to Rosanna's brother Job and his wife Mary. When the 1860 Census was taken, "Roseana" owned real estate valued at $1,400 and personal property valued at $400.
