The 1840 Census of Effingham Co., IL, shows Daniel as: 0030001-0000001. Daniel was 40-50, 3 children were 10-15, and Elenore was 50-60. This may indicate that besides Job, two of Elenore's children were living with them. Email from Kevin Perkins: This is copied from my abstract of January 26, 1887 it is written with quill pen on very old and frail paper. I find no Parkhursts on the map, but may be able to on the 1899 plat. There was an Opal Shelton Parkhurst here in the 1950's I think. I will send you the copy as soon as I can get to it.
