This would place him at 30 years of age when he was married. However, going with the 2-year-gap pattern of the rest of his siblings in Louisiana, Bonaventura may have been born in 1791, between Juan Francisco and Pablo Antonio. This would have placed his age at 22 when he was married.
In the records, he's listed as "Bonaventura of Ascension," but can also be found as simply "Ventura Véga." He most likely shortened his name to Ventura, which he went by most of his life. |
