| Jacob and Isaac were twins. Jacob was the author of Sketches of Jacob Parkhurst 1772 - 1863 "By Himself" an autobiography written in 1842 and published in book form in 1893 by the print shop of the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Hom Jacob lived and married in Washington Co., PA. In the spring of 1802, the family moved to Trumbull Co., OH. In 1819 they moved into Indiana, and lived in White Water, Fayette Co. for two and a half years. When the 1820 Census was taken, Jacob was living in Harrison Twp., Fayette Co., IN. Finally, Jacob moved to Blue River, near Knightstown, in Henry Co., IN. When the 1830 Census was taken, Jacob was living in Henry Co., IN. When the 1840 Census was taken, Jacob was living in Wayne Twp., Henry Co., IN. In 1850 Jacob was living with his daughter, Elizabeth, and her family in Wayne Twp., Henry Co., IN.
