|Daniel moved his family to Johnson Co., IN about 1836. In the late 1830s they moved again to Effingham Co., IL.|
Daniel was Effingham County Commissioner in 1839-40 and then Probate Justice until his death in 1841.
On November 23, 1838, Daniel Parkhurst purchased two parcels of 40 acres each of federal land for $1.25 an acre (total of $50x2) in Effingham Co., IL.
On September 20, 1839, Daniel Parkhurst purchased one parcels of 40.97 acres of federal land for $1.25 an acre (total of $51.20) in Effingham Co., IL.
The 1820 census of Warren Co, TN, shows Daniel as "Daniel Parkharst"

Rosanna should only be 13, which would put her in the previous group.
The 1840 Census of Effingham Co., IL, shows Daniel as: 0030001-0000001.
Daniel was 40-50, 3 children were 10-15, and Elenore was 50-60. This may indicate that besides Job, two of Elenore's children were living with them.

This is copied from my abstract of January 26, 1887 it is written with quill pen on very old and frail paper. I find no Parkhursts on the map, but may be able to on the 1899 plat. There was an Opal Shelton Parkhurst
here in the 1950's I think. I will send you the copy as soon as I can get to it.

1835 6 Apr, Warren Co., TN The will of Clabourn Gunter, dec’d, was produced in court by John Patterson who was appointed execr, whereupon John G. W.
