Information from Marie (Mrs. Kenneth) Trimbell:
Esmee Viola went by the name of "Viola".  Viola and Ernie lived in Cedar Falls where he orked as a dairyman at Nasby's Empire and then for Carnation.  Ernest had two daughters: Alvira and Jeanette, then Viola and Ernie had Betty, their only child

Betty married Edwin Tanner and had three children, Terry, Sherry and Becky.  In 1942 the whole family moved to Berkeley, California.

In 1946 Ernie and Viola moved to southern California and Betty and her family moved to Oregon.  A few years later Viola and Ernie moved to Vista, California.  In a few years, with failing health, Viola and Ernie moved to Orange County, first to an apartment and then to a nursing home where Ernie died.  Viola went with her daughter, Betty, and died a year later.

Viola and Ernie are buried in Westminister Memorial Park, Westminister, California
