BELLINGHAM -- Michael G. Bournazian, 27, of Bellingham, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, from injuries sustained in a multiple-car accident in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Born in Milford, he was the son of Amiel "Steve" Bournazian and Linda L. (Lester) Bournazian of Bellingham. He he lived in Bellingham all of his life until relocating to the Myrtle Beach area last mont

He was educated in Bellingham schools and was a 1996 graduate of Bellingham High School.

At the time of his death, Mr. Bournazian was employed as a car salesman for Myrtle Beach Ford. He previously worked for Franklin Ford before moving.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of senior airman, and saw active duty in the Persian Gulf. He was also stationed throughout the Middle East.

His hobbies and interests included Bellingham Youth Hockey, fishing and a lifelong love of cars.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandmother, June (Greenlaw) White of Avon; his maternal grandparents, Raymond Lester and Pauline (Klapproth) Lester of New Mexico; his maternal great-grandmother, Anne (Alden) Lester of Needham; three brothers, Steven M. Bournazian of Killeen, Texas, David A. and Kevin R. Bournazian of Bellingham; a stepbrother, James Wood of Bellingham; two sisters, Lynn A. Bournazian and Beth A. Bournazian, both of Bellingham; and his goddaughter, Jaelin E. Ledoux of Bellingham.

His funeral will be held with military honors Wednesday, July 6, at 8:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin, at 9 a.m.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 5, from 4 to 8 p.

Instead of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Michael G. Bournazian Bereavement Fund, c/o Sovereign Bank, Bellingham, MA 02019.
