Anatole came to Texas with the Cline, Smith and Nurdine families in about 1874. They settled in the Walnut Bend area of Fannin County.
Anatole and his family lived in West Baton Rouge Parish, Pointe Coupee Parish and Lobdell store areas along Bayou Poydras before coming to Texas.
To get to WhiteRock Cemetery, take 121 out of McKinney to SH11 and turn right got to first black top road and turn left ,( FM 15 something) not far to top of hill and sign what points to White Rock Cemetery, turn left and follow road untilmakes a sharp right at a gray house, cemetery on the left. |
