There were several Pedro Sanchez's that came over to Louisiana from the Canary Islands in 1778.  This Pedro may be the Pedro Sanchez, wife Maria Lopez, and children Andres Sanchez, and Maria Sanchez that came onboard the ship "San Juan Nepomuceno" embarking for Havana on December 9, 1778.  However, this would make his daughter Maria 14 years older than her husband.
