According to Volume 8 (1853-1857) of the Diocese of Baton Rouge records, an Elizabeth Véga, age 22, wife of Andres Véga was buried 27-Jun-1854 (ASC-11, 173). This would put Elizabeth's birth year at 1832, which matches Isabella Aleman, daughter of Francisco Aleman and Marie Rosalie Hidalgo. Since "Isabella" is a Spanish dirvative of "Elizabeth", they are more than likely the same person.
