After he finished a common school education he took a business course at Indianapolis, Ind.; accepted a position at Logansport, Ind., with the Wabash railroad company as bookkeeper, a position he filled for fourteen years. Owing to ill health he moved to Boulder, Colo., and was in the employ of the McAllister Lumber Co., for fifteen years. He died at Lafayette, Colo., Feb., 1911, of paralysis. He was a member of the Christian church for more than thirty years. -- Prichard Family History
In the 1900 census of Precinct 9, Boulder, Colorado, D. N. Pritchard, 35 (Oct 1864) was living with wife Lornna L., 26 (Jul 1873), son Victor E., 8 (June 1892) and daughter Carmen, 4 (Nov 1895). M. Heffermen, 73 (Dec 1826), his father in law, was also living with them. |
