Nancy and her husband, Job Benton Parkhurst, were first cousins once removed. Their common ancestors were Ezekiel Parkhurst and his wife, Abiel Hathaway.

The 4 Apr 1899 edition of the Daily Republican mentions that Miss Mabel Leach of Paxton visited with her aunt, Mrs. J. B. Parkhurst and other relatives the previous week. Mabel was the daughter of Loven Garret Leach.
